My name is Allexis! I am the founder, owner and artist for Rebirth Keepsakes. I am a young mother with a beautiful son, fur babies, angel babies and also another one on the way! I am also a surro-mom, meaning I was also a surrogate for a wonderful couple whom I love dearly.

     Growing up I wanted to be a veterinarian. That was my goal, my passion and my dream for over 15 years. I started in the veterinary field, including starting school. But the pressures of society, motherhood, schooling, working 12+ hour days, was too much! So I decided to focus on being a mother first. I really wanted to find something that gave me as much pleasure without the added stress. But it took many years, a life changing experience and connecting with who I am to find that answer. 

     I have always loved hearing others stories and their walks of life. Made me really appreciate even the smallest of things. Made me really appreciate things I wouldn't have thought of.  I have always had an artistic side to me, but never was in the proper field to use my full potential. 

     Motherhood, loss, being a surrogate, a wife and being a pet parent really made me appreciate the smallest of things. But sometimes those small things have such a huge impact on our lives, I wanted a way to memorialize this and make it special. That's when I created Rebirth Keepsakes. I wanted something that symbolized what I was creating. The butterfly signifies the power of transformation and new beginnings. Whether it's the beginning, middle or end of a journey, I am here to capture every step of the way. Thank you for trusting me to capture that journey for you.
